ABOUT THE WOODSTOCK PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP AND LECTURE SERIES

Since 1977 the Center for Photography at Woodstock has offered the Woodstock Photography Workshop and Lecture series to educate, encourage, inform, and inspire photographers of all ages.

Held at CPW in the idyllic town of Woodstock, NY, our hands-on Workshops allow you to expand your craft, skills, and vision under the mentorship of a leading image-maker. Our specialized weekend classes and parallel lecture series continue to attract photographers, artists, & students from across the US and Canada, from a wide range of photographic experience — ranging from the beginning photographer to the professional image-maker.

CPW's workshops have long been known as a place — free from everyday distractions — to focus on your own work in an environment with people and friends who share your love and interest in photography. This is the place to take the time to explore, experiment, learn new techniques, problem solve, and re-energize. Each event is kept intimate by limited enrollment and we provide a highly qualified support staff to help make your experience all that you had hoped for and more.
