“Meet the Artist”

On Thursday, January 25, Adrianna Ault will be at “Meet the Artist” to present her project “Levee,” and discuss the emotional space in which it was created. “Levee” is on view at CPW January 13–March 17, 2024. Levee, Ault’s monograph of this body of work (VOID, 2023) will be available for purchase. This event will be live-streamed on CPW’s YouTube Page at 6 pm.
Join us every Thursday evening at CPW, when we host illuminating talks with local and visiting artists. “Meet the Artist” allows the public to get to know new work, to hear about artistic processes, and to meet friends and other local artists. The evening takes place at CPW’s gallery at 474 Broadway in Kingston, NY. It is free and open to the public. Coffee, tea, and snacks are served. “Meet the Artist” is made possible by a generous grant from the Arnold and Augusta Newman Foundation.
Adrianna Ault (b.1972) is an American photographer raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Adrianna studied photography from a very early age. She lived and worked in New York City for seventeen years and has spent her life working in the realm of photography, whether commercial or artistically driven. In 2017, she collaborated with Tim Carpenter, Raymond Meeks, and Brad Zellar on Township, a photobook centered around the auction of her family farm in central Ohio. In 2018, Township was nominated for the distinguished Kassel Fotobook Award. Her first monograph, Levee, was published with VOID (Athens, Greece) in 2023. Adrianna Ault holds an MFA from Hartford International Limited-Residency Photography School. She works in her studio in the Hudson Valley of New York. In addition to making work for publication, she has taught at colleges and workshops.
