Bound Futures: Analog Zines

Join MARTHA NARANJO SANDOVAL for a hands-on one day workshop, where participants will utilize the technique of collage in the construction of individual zines. Zine-makers will explore not only how to make meaning through the format, but also how to incorporate hand made gestures in its development. Through this analog approach to zine making, participants will spend the day focused on the physicality of this expansive medium, with everyone leaving with multiple copies of their creations, in either color and/or black and white.

WHAT TO BRING: Photographs and cuttable ephemera for collaging, even better if it’s around a topic of interest, as well as any related texts, notes, poems, or drawings. Additional materials will also be supplied for cutting up.
