Discovering Place is a powerful visual storytelling project from Place Corps Kingston Fellowship, a gap-year program that empowers young adults (18–21) to step into adulthood with the confidence, skills, support, and inspiration needed to thrive.
Over six months, the Fellows used photography to capture neighborhoods, landscapes, relationships, and everyday moments that often go unseen. Through their lenses, they have explored belonging, memory, change, and responsibility, creating images that reflect both the places they inhabit and the people they are becoming.

CPW’s Community Gallery is a new space dedicated to fostering connections between diverse local communities using photography. It will host a rotating schedule of short-run exhibitions featuring work by CPW members, local artist collectives, student groups, and projects by local nonprofit organizations. CPW is committed to being a welcoming hub for critical and creative explorations of photography from varied perspectives.
