Join CPW for an afternoon of illustration, writing, and collaging in order to create your very own cyanotype. Using materials and inspiration from the exhibition, participants will learn to create a “blueprint” of this show. All ages are welcome.
About the Instructor
Micah Fornari is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Kingston, NY who integrates colorful pop-surrealist aesthetics with horror and science fiction-inspired concepts. Exploring the vast possibilities for blending both traditional and digital mediums including illustration, pyrography, and printmaking, he creates artworks with dynamic compositions and vibrant color palettes. He works with the performance art group Whoop Dee Doo, D.R.A.W. Kingston, and CPW.
Please join CPW every Saturday in January to explore various photographic techniques featured throughout its IBM Tech City-based exhibition, Parallel Lives. Using the spacious backdrop of over 150 photographic works as inspiration, CPW welcomes art lovers of all ages to join in learning new processes, discovering new work, and spending time with friends and family. All activities are free, but please RSVP. Beverages and light snacks will be provided.
