TRAIN
Amtrak from NYC Moynihan Station to Rhinecliff. Please note Rhinecliff is approximately a 35-minute taxi ride to Kingston.
BUS
Adirondack Trailways buses stop in Uptown Kingston. Please note the bus station is approximately a 30 minute walk or 5 min taxi ride.
PLANE
Albany International Airport (ALB), and Stewart/Newburgh Airport (SWF). Both airports are 1 hour from Kingston.
John F Kennedy (JFK), La Guardia (LGA), and Newark (EWR) are a 2-3 hour drive.

Are your workshops ADA accessible?

Is there a waitlist for sold-out workshops?
Yes, there is an option to be added to a waitlist during registration if you find the workshop to be sold out. If a space becomes available, you will be notified automatically.
What if I can no longer attend a workshop, but I already registered?
Any cancellations made at least 30 days before a workshop start date are eligible for a partial tuition refund of 80% minus a 3% processing fee.
Any cancellations made within 15-30 days of a workshop start date will be eligible for a partial tuition refund of 50% minus a 3% processing fee. However, the full amount can be transferred towards a future eligible workshop.
Any cancellation requests made within 14 days of a workshop are no longer eligible for a refund, but are eligible for a 50% tuition credit towards a future eligible workshop.
All refunds are subject to a non-refundable transaction processing fee of 3%, if requested by you.

Please note: Depending on the workshop, a minimum number of participants are needed to run it. CPW reserves the right to cancel workshops due to low enrollment ten business days prior to the start date. If CPW cancels a workshop due to low enrollment, you will be refunded the full amount paid, including the processing fee. CPW is not responsible for non-refundable travel and accommodation costs made outside of our organization.
Are there discounts on workshops?
MEMBERSHIPS
Most workshops are priced for general tuition, and 10% off member pricing. If you’d like to become a member to receive discounts on workshops, classes, digital media lab, printing rates, please click here.
SCHOLARSHIPS
We strive to make our workshops and classes financially accessible while sustaining the resources needed to support our programs. Reduced-price tuition options are made possible in part through private donations, but primarily through the support of participants who are able to pay full tuition. By registering at the full rate, community members help create scholarship opportunities and expanded access for those who may not otherwise be able to participate.
When registering, we ask that you select the pricing level that best fits your current budget and reserve reduced tuition options for situations where they are truly necessary. These community-supported offerings are available on a first come, first served basis. If all reduced-price spots have been filled, please contact education@cpw.org to inquire about additional scholarship availability. We will always do our best to accommodate requests whenever possible.
When is lunch break during the workshop?
There is an hour for lunch built into each day of a workshop if duration exceeds 4 hours.
What do I need to bring to the workshop?
Each workshop outlines what participants should bring to the workshop. Once you sign up for a workshop, you will receive all relevant materials related to the workshop (no later than two weeks prior to the start date) including how to prepare, and workshop locations if different from CPW.
