The CPW Community Gallery is dedicated to amplifying and celebrating creative voices in our region. It will host a rotating schedule of month-long exhibitions featuring work by CPW members, local artist collectives, student groups, and projects by local nonprofit organizations. Our aim is to give space to and foster connections between diverse local communities using photography. CPW is committed to being a welcoming hub for critical and creative explorations of photography from varied perspectives. The Community Gallery is free for all visitors.
Located at 25 Dederick Street, Kingston, NY, on the building’s ground floor, the gallery is approximately 370 square feet. CPW can provide floor plans, elevations, and images to all applicants.
CPW Community Gallery exhibitions run for four weeks. Unless otherwise agreed upon, all production, framing, installation, and deinstallation are the sole responsibility of the exhibitor. Note: the gallery is not intended for exhibitions of individual artist submissions. Our goal is to support the work of local organizations and provide exhibition space for collaborations and critical dialogues in photography.
