Alternative Processes (ages 12-19)
Debra Trebitz

July 17 – July 21, 2023 (9:00 am – 12:00 pm)

Explore the magic of photography through the lens of science and art. Over the course of 5 days, students will explore and demystify how images are made through various alternative processes that will include sun printing on different materials, handmade pinhole cameras, image transfers, collaborative photo collages, and more! Students will create their own individual works and leave with a better understanding of how to make fantastical pictures without a fancy camera or phone. Through hands-on activities, this week-long class will provide students a chance to discover the many fun ways in which photography can be incorporated into their artistic adventures.

Where to meet: Students will meet at our new home on 25 Dederick Street, Monday–Friday, from 9:00 –12:00 pm. Healthy snacks and refreshments will be provided. Debra will be assisted by CPW Staff.
