CPW Closes Temporarily

In light of the current health situation and the growing threat of the COVID-19 virus, CPW has made the difficult but appropriate decision to close our galleries and artist workspaces for at least two weeks effective immediately. Like many of our peers in the art world who have made similar decisions, we do so out of an abundance of caution for our staff, our members and for the greater community. During this period, most of the staff will be working remotely.
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Centers for Disease Control currently recommends social distancing, event cancellations, and flexible work arrangements to which we are complying. CPW will continue to closely monitor and adhere to general health recommendations with the hope of reopening as soon as it is safely possible. In the meantime, our staff is working to migrate as much of our programming and resources online as possible. Details to follow.
We thank you for your support and understanding, particularly during these challenging times. Serving our community is what sustains us. We are working hard to serve you even when our physical doors must remain closed. We look forward to seeing you back in our galleries soon.

Artists, NYFA has compiled a list of resources and emergency grants, including the Rauschenberg Emergency Grant that will assist artists with up to $5,000 for unexpected health expenses. We will post opportunities via social media, as we become aware of them. Stay well.
