Every Wednesday, March 5 – May 7, 2025
Join artist ADRIANNA AULT for a hands-on 10-week class hosted by CPW in Kingston, NY. Photobook II is a course for photographers who have a body of work that they have spent time with and want to structure into a photography book. In Photobook II: From Project to Press, students will learn how to design, lay out, sequence, prepare files for press, and experiment with papers, materials for covers, and binding. Throughout this class, we’ll be joined by guest speakers, and visit local print shops. Students can expect engaging discourse, growth in their project, and an increase in their overall working knowledge of making a photobook. During the last 3 weeks of class, students will learn to work on CPW’s new digital press in order to make a final maquette. Photobook II requires some photobook knowledge, preferably Photobook I.
